Jennifer Rene Psaki
Psaki is the oldest daughter of three born in Stamford Connecticut in 1978, to Eileen Dolan (nee Medvey) and Dimitrios R. Psaki. Dimitrios R. Psaki is a retired real estate developer whose father emigrated in 1904 from Greece and whose mother was Irish. The couple got married in the year 1976. Psaki also has Polish ancestry. Psaki graduated in 1996 from Greenwich High School. In 2000 she graduated from the College of William & Mary with a degree in English and sociology. She is an active part of the Chi Omega sorority. Psaki, who was a William & Mary backstroke swimmer, was a member of the William & Mary Tribe Athletic team for two seasons. Psaki started her professional career in 2001, working on the reelection campaigns of Tom Harkin (Iowa Democrats) for the U.S. Senate. Psaki was later appointed deputy press secretary to John Kerry's presidential campaign in 2004. Psaki was the communications director for Joseph Crowley, a U.S. representative, as well as the regional press secretary of Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee. MSNBC has announced Psaki as a political analyst for 2022 United States Elections and during the 2024 presidential campaign. In 2023, she'll host a show on MSNBC's Peacock streaming platform.
